The Negotiation the Meles regime is struggling to abide by contrary to its decades long history of fascism

The signing of the ethics document regarding the conduct of the up coming election is historic in all aspects of its nature. That is because of the fact that this is the first time ever in history that political patries came close to solving their difference in a peaceful manner in accordence to the expectations and desires of the majority of Ethiopian people, which is to see a peaceful political transition among political parties.
According to all parties involved, the ruling party/ EPRDF, under enormous pressure from the international community, initiated a proposal to sit down and work out the differences it had with opposition parties, and come up with a " win win " agreement all parties involved are satisfied with. The main issues covered in the agreement were human rights, free speech, and free assembly in the run upto the election and beyond.
Five major parties, including the the ruling EPRDF took part in the two months long, closed door, and at times tense negotiations that began with the defection of one of the parties known as MEDREK ( After its proposal to negotiate alone, instead of collectively was rejected by EPRDF), but resulted with the emergence of historic document that seemed to have leveled the playing field to a certain degree.
According to sources, the negotiation was an outcome of increased pressure on both sides of the political spectrum, by the international community via NGOs operating in Ethiopia, who also observed the negotiation process through out and up to the signing ceremony at Sheraton Hotel.
From the opposition side, AEUP, AEDP, and CUD were able to endure two months long of negotiations despite verbal attacks and threats from " good for nothing " political parties and their followers in Ethiopia and abroad. However, the facts of the agreement, including public testimony from Lidetu aka Kihdetu Ayalew, the chairman of AEDP, indicate that AEUP, led by the honorable Eng. Hailu Shawel, single handedly pressured EPRDF to accept the infamous " eight points " proposal it had rejected in 2005, plus six more proposals totaling fourteen demands that are vital to conducting a free and fair election. After the negotiations were concluded, the four opposition parties involved were successful in bringing more than sixty political parties aboard in support of the final document.
Soon after the document was signed, the parties that took part in the negotiations recalled their cadres from their constituencies to designated headquarters or conference rooms in Addis Ababa and other cities, and gave them general knowledge of the document with instructions to hold similar meetings among party members they co-ordinate.

The current debacle in Paltalk rooms was caused after the current Foreign Relations head of All Ethiopian Unity Party, Ato Yacob Likke, gave a very controversial and seemingly rehearsed interview to a group of individuals, who are suspected of being under cover agents of the fascist regime, in which he disrespectfully dismissed one of the founders and long time Vice President of the party, Ato. Abayneh Birhanu's heroic contribution to the struggle against TPLF.
Ato. Yacob is heard saying that Ato. Abayneh, who he has never met before, and whose years of sacrifice he has no any knowledge about, I doubt it, is stripped of his right to conduct interviews and meetings representing the Party he helped form some 15 years ago. His reason ? Those anti-Ethiopia elements in four different paltalk rooms led by none other than a life long TPLF servant who goes by the nick name Ezana, sent him a tape recorder cassette in which Ato. Abayneh is heard insulting, I don't believe so, these TPLF agents whose goal is to take over AEUP by isolating, if not removing, the party leaders, such as Ato. Abayneh and Dr. Taye Woldesemiat, who are believed to be an obstacle to their attempt to dismantle the only strong and pro-Ethiopian People political party in Ethiopia. What is wrong with that Ato. Yacob ? Whose side are you on ? Ato Yacob further added that Ato. Abayneh violated the party's rule by insulting these low life TPLF infiltrators, therefore is subjected to penalty by disciplinary action committee of the party. Who is the real violator of the party's rule ? Ato. Abayneh, who stood against TPLF agents whose main goal is to present AEUP to their beloved leader Meles Zenawi as gift, or Ato. Yacob Likke, who is protecting the rights of these anti-AEUP elements to break the party apart in pieces from top to bottom ?
Ato. Yacob was later interviewed by patriotic Ethiopians in Ethio Lions Club room, who he thought were collaborators of those anti-AEUP agents, at which time he resorted to white lies and denials when confronted by patriotic Ethio Lions paltalk room members and audiences. He completely denied the fact that he publicly disrespected the party's VP and Advisory board chairman Dr. Taye Woldesemiat. He also refused to apologize and refute all those divisive statements he made a couple of days ago while talking to those parasites in the EPRP affiliated room called Ethio Forum discussion room led by another long time WOYANE servant nick named Enderassie. At the end of the interview conducted by patriotic children of Ethiopia in Ethio Lions room, Ethiopians in diaspora were given a chance to observe Ato. Yacob's lack of knowledge about the history and structure of the party he joined just a year ago, the sympathy he has for TPLF and its elements which makes him one of them, and the I am perfect, and everyone else around me is fault attitude he has for his colleagues and AEUP supporters alike. I strongly suggest that Ato. Yacob be dismissed from the party before his plan to fragment the party materializes in front of our eyes.
